Ballet Recital 2008

Grace had her dance recital last night, she was fabulous of course... Her words " There was no stage fright"

"Annual Avalon start the summer off trip"

This week we went to visit Anna at her Mimi's house in Avalon. As usual the girls had a blast. Liam cant wait for Jack to be big enough so he doesnt have to torture the girls alone. The weather was breezy to say the least and a little chilly, but that didnt stop the girls getting wet. CRAZY!!

New Wheels!!

aww, new bikes this Memorial Weekend.. They love them and Grace can already ride hers like a champ, and has had hers confiscated for bad behaviour (spraying sunscreen on the laptop!!)

I love it when they get something they love then it really works as a punishment. Yay for all of us..

The Tale of Fuzzy.

Grace was delighted today to find a pet all of her own, Fuzzy. She found Fuzzy on the tarmac of the Saturn Dealership and nursed and cuddled this caterpillar for an hour, she loved him and had dreams of taking him home and letting him sleep on her belly!!

Alas life with Fuzzy was cut short when she inadvertantly dropped Fuzzy and stepped on him. It was a crushing moment literally.. Yet another dramatic moment in a day of her life.. I cant imagine what tomorrow will bring..

I dont think Liam has slept in my arms since he was an infant, let alone while in a restaurant..

Another "Big" Milestone

As you can tell from prior posts, Liam has decided he is no longer a baby and will climb out of his crib.. We finally broke down and put him in his big boy bed, its so sad the crib has gone and now here he is. At least he looks little to me again. He has adjusted fabulously and doesnt even torture me by getting in and out so we will take the blessings where we get them...

Always seems like a good idea at the time!

Why cant this happen to me daily at say around 12.30pm. Oh hold on! the odds on that would be like winning the lottery..

I would like to tell you these moments are frequent and that they were not fighting five mins before and possibly five mins after. A rare snapshot and ill take what I get.

Mothers Day Tea!

Grace's school had their annual Mothers Day Tea, totally cute little concert. Grace was only mute for the 1st two songs then she managed to mutter the words to the rest. She was so excited to serve me tea and cookies and present me with a handmade card with a bunch of questions she had been asked about me.

Whats the deal?

Could I start my day off daily at 5.55am with Liam hanging out of the crib because he cant climb out and hold onto every freind he wants to bring with him, then get yelled at because there isnt a Lazytown channel broadcasting it all day everyday...

BFF!

It was Anna's 4th bday party on Friday, we wouldnt have missed it for anything. The girls had a blast, its always great to see them together. They miss each other terribly..

Lets talk milestones!

Ok, even though Grace was in a bed by 20mths, I most certainly have not been ready to put Liam in one. I like the idea that he is penned in can not get into anymore mischief for the day. Alas at 5.58 am a little face appeared by my bed. Not only can he climb out of his crib but can open the door, run down the hallway and come into our room. I guess I should be thankful he is coming into our room and not coming downstairs to make himself breakfast. I will add more once I stop crying!!!

Early Mornings!!

Liam my awesome sleeper has turned into an early bird, a really early bird.. I know what I need to do but for some reason keep jumping out of bed at 5-6am and catering to him in order to keep the rest of the house in peace. But lets face it while everyone sleeps im sat here like a jackass with him. I think the rest of them will have to be disturbed pretty soon!!

Grace's New Hair

Ok She is 4 now! and I have tried in vain to grow her hair like most of her friends flowing locks. Alas its been a no go. She has been given a real hair do and even though she is totally cute and pulls it off fabulously it leaves me a little sad that she is growing up..
